I saw that on Amy’s blog she had a ticker time thing for losing weight. I love that. So I made one for my vacation. It’s clunky and off center, but I’m going to use it anyway.
My sister Marie talked me into going to Los Cabos. I said, “Let’s take a vacation in February,” and she said, “Someplace warm!” I responded with, “Well, whatever, let’s just go somewhere.”
So Los Cabos it is. I’m excited about the food, the drinking, the reading, but I’m not really a lie in the sun kind of person. We’ll see how I feel when I come back a lobster. Anyone been there? Any recommendations?
I’m glad that you’re going to get out of town and relax for awhile. Are you gonna be back in time for my birthday? I’m trying to convince Joey to let me celebrate at his place. For that matter, what are we doing for your birthday??
T and I have been to Cabo twice. KB is right… it’s all about the tourism. However, that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun… depends on where you stay and what you like. I’m not a big fishing person but the friends I went with wanted to go deep sea fishing. It was a BLAST! We actually caught a marlin. We let it go, of course, but it was so cool to see that creature jump and come so close.
We also spent a full day on a “booze cruise”. Even if you’re not into the liquor, the boat took us to a great out of the way place where we could snorkel and see some really cool fish.
If you’re not afraid of heights, there’s plenty of parasailing opportunities. For the week we were there we only spent one day lounging on the beach.
Hope you have a great time!
Los Cabos was my favorite of all the ports I visited on the Diamond, but we were only ever there for 6 hours. I recommend Captain Tony’s for breakfast tacos though. Yum.
Happy birthday katie.
