I looked in it yesterday and found (again) my 1982 and 1983 diaries (one is a Judy Blume diary with quotes from her books on each page! the other is a charlie brown one.) and my friend Dillard and I had a riotous time reading it. I was a mess then and I am mess now. Nothing changes.

Of course, I do have one, but only because I think pop culture silly obsessions are FASCINATING. It’s sort of my guilty pleasure. And it was $1.25 at a store one day so I thought, “It could be worth money someday, maybe.”
