More than any other insect, I instantly feel it crawling all over me just by looking at a picture. But the other thing the bee had going for it was my guilt over the spider.

I totally understand your fear of spiders. My theory is, if the spider comes in uninvited, it is breaking and entering and could cause harm to the family so it would be considered self defense if you killed it. I am glad that you freed the bee but only because I like honey. Oh, I found something the other day that made me think of you…a wine called Vampire that is imported from Transylvania….no joke! My dad and I found it at AAFES.
