A true perfectionist would do many rough drafts and work and work ahead of time in order to get it right, but I, on the other hand, wait until the last minute and then try to get it perfect with no success since I didn’t allow enough time.

Funny, I think my mom has been trying to point this out since I was 5 years old.

I think it’s very possible to be both, I procrastinate because I know if I don’t I’ll just keep redoing it endlessly until the deadline, and I want to save myself some of that pain. I feel like nothing would ever get done if I started my projects on time.

I only know simple programs. 🙂 I used the designer graphics under effects and then colorized and then set some transparency and erased some of it AND THEN…big breath…gave it a soft edge. 🙂 Mostly I played until it looked the way I wanted.

As I type this I am beginning to see how this could be seen as relatively vulgar conversation! Anyway…I’ve been trying to do something similar in Photoshop where the background of the picture and the background of the body of the webpage visually become one. it doesn’t sound like it’d be tough, but dammit if I can’t quite get it. Maybe photodraw would be the way to go…if i still had a PC! Dang!

Which makes it easy to just insert a background (my pic) in the top left. Then when I want to move the text over I just add left padding to the banner. It’s fun to tweak and play with.
